Great books on congregational life

What books have been helpful to you in figuring out which way to lead?

Here's three which I found very helpful.

Dorothy Bass "Practicing our faith" Jossey-Bass 1997. Bass chronicles twelve practices which shape our faith. She has gone on to have a separate book written for each of the twelve practices.

Diana Butler-Bass "Christianity for the rest of us" Harper, 2006
Diana Butler-Bass looks at the positive impact on mainline Liberal congregations who deliberately promote the Practices.

Hal Taussig " A new spiritual home" Polebridge Press, 2006
Taussig asks what are the signs of vitality in progressive churches. A quick, helpful read. Taussig is a member of the Jesus Seminar, a pastor and a seminary professor.

so what's a good read for you?
