This is the introduction to the section of the Wiki Welcoming Guide that looks at leadership today's ministry context.
This Wiki guide is a developing resource powered by similar technology to that of Wikipedia, the well-known on-line encyclopedia that users can contribute to and edit themselves.
Wiki technology makes it possible for practitioners in congregations around the country to work together to create their own resource, based on their own experiences of what works and what doesn't.

Progressive Church Conference
On December 6-7, 2007, Harvard Divinity School held a conference on the progressive church at the First Church in Cambridge. The conference program included an evening opening panel, with three featured speakers, and a full day of presentations and discussions. The speakers were
* Marcus Borg "The heart of Christianity"
* Brian D. McLaren "Everything must change"
* Diana Butler Bass "Christianity for the rest of us"

Diana Butler Bass at Queen's Alumni Conference
Diana Butler Bass will be the main speaker at the Queen's Theological College Alumni Conference in Kingston ON on October 20-22, 2008
