What Are You Doing in Response to the Atheist Bus Ads?

Here in Ottawa the atheist bus ads have been in the papers. We responded by putting up on our sign "There is a God, so stop worrying and enjoy your life." It got us quite the positive response.

This story also ran in the London Free Press and a few other papers across the country. In the Ottawa paper we got a full colour picture on page 3. The story and our sign were also mentioned in a phone in show on local talk radio station CFRA, and in a feature interview on Radio-Canada.

'there is a God, so stop worrying and enjoy life'
In postmodern Christendom (woohoo)... a barrier we need to directly address is people's sense and image of 'God'. For many it is rooted in the Old Testament: an angry; accounting (based in reward and punishment) unpredictable and wrathful "AlMighty"..separate, aloof and fearful. I hear people say " i'm better off with no God, than that God.' Many are triggered and put off JUST by the word God. Would Emerging Spirit PLEASE address this thru an ad campaign, and be careful re their use of the word "God"...fjasiura
