David Ewart's blog

David Ewart is a United Church minister at Capilano United, North Vancouver, BC. He grew up in Winnipeg, MB, and joined the United Church in 1965, just as it began its non-stop decline, a coincidence that he continues to ponder. At various times, David has been involved with Native land claims, sexism and gender justice, inclusive language change, and open inclusion of lesbians and gays in all aspects of society. He has an amateur interest in modern science and mathematics. After family and Capilano United, his current interest is conversation with clergy colleagues about building capacity for effective leadership within healthy congregations. He also enjoys crossword and Sudoku puzzles to ward off looming mental decline.
