This one really does seem to lack sensitivity.
It ridicules, the relationship between Jesus and the disciples.
It makes a mockery of the Passover feast.
I fail to see who it would appeal to.
This one made me laugh out loud! It doesn't mock anything - just acknowledges something that comes up for families like mine every easter when we find ourselves so worried about the commericial trappings we forget to take the time to "discover the real story" of easter. I'm going to take it to my church and ask them to use it.
I like this ad - I think it gently pokes fun at the way we celebrate Easter, but several of these ads urge us to "discover the real story." I don't think Easter is just about learning a story. The story invites us to experience resurrection life. Is there a way of adapting the ad copy to express that?
I enjoy the light hearted tone of the ad, its OK to poke fun at ourselves. I see its appeal clearly at the young family demographic who may want their children to learn the real story of Easter.

You can certainly adapt the copy to your tastes. The ads are all Word documents you can edit to your heart's content. If you make a better one post it back on the site.

Discover the story or experience new life?

Raises the curiosity!
