iWonder

Conversations – especially about topics as intimate as spirituality, faith, and values – are essential for developing
relationships.
We once assumed that everyone was in essential agreement about some fundamental matters. In a world characterized by diverse opinion and authority, we can no longer make that assumption.
iWonder provides another opportunity to create relationship-building conversations in your congregation and community
about what really matters to people.
Some of the iWonder questions include:
What happens when we die?
What is heaven?
Does prayer make a difference?
Does God have a plan for your life?
Are angels real?
Who is Jesus to you?
How Does iWonder Work?
United Church congregations can order iWonder postcard sets (free, in limited numbers), each prepared with a question for discussion. These can be used in study groups, distributed in the community, or placed in pews as a way to connect. People can then respond in writing, through participation in a small group, or on WonderCafe.
The iWonder video blog on WonderCafe offers short interviews with a variety of people, asking each to respond to an iWonder question on camera. You can also create your own video response and post it on WonderCafe. Invite groups at your church to participate!
iWonder questions and responses will be posted on WonderCafe, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites. So you can also participate on these sites.
