These Emerging Spirit questionnaires were used at the beginning of the campaign to gauge some of the attitudes and experience that people of all ages have about The United Church of Canada.

There are three surveys included in this resource, each prepared for a specific audience:

• Questions for people of all ages already attending a United Church congregation.
• Questions for those between the ages of 30-45 who already attend a United Church congregation.
• Questions for those between the ages of 30-45 who are NOT already part of a faith community.

The responses to the questionnaire can help us better understand where we are in relation to each other and where we may need to do more work to build a relationship.

Give copies of each of these surveys to members of your welcoming team or congregation and ask them to use them to guide their conversations with people in each distinct audience. Then, at the next gathering of your welcoming team, compare the responses you have received.
