Where's WonderCafe?
As you may be aware, we are about to introduce the new and improved Wondercafe. We are only a few days away and there are a few important things to know in order for us to make the change.
Wondercafe is curently off-line. This is a routine process we need to undertake to ensure that the changeover happens smoothly.
Your passwords, mail and postings will remains the same, but the site will look entirely different and we’re also adding many more exciting features to the site!
When the new site launches, it will feature great new tools including:
- enhanced mail
- better search capabilities
- enhanced profiles
- posting of photos
- posting of videos
- creating groups
- enhanced church groups

under construction or lost?
I went on wondercafe today , and discovered someone else has taken over the domain name. It offered me my choice of
* Wonder
* Homes For Sale
* Apartments
* Dating Services
* Chat Rooms
* Airline Tickets
* Travel Guides
* Las Vegas
* Hawaii
* Used Cars
I went to the UCC website and clicked on their wondercafe link, & it gave a 'we're under construction' sign. I wonder if we have lost the name? such fun!
DON'T PANIC!
My, overused, Wondercafe shortcut took me straight to the under construction page. I'm sure it is fine.
Last thing we need is someone looking to invest their time in Wondercafe to find out the fundamentals of the site are unsound so they pull out, and write a report on it. Then everyone sees the report and stops investing in the threads, and the posting index plunges. General Council is left having to inject $800 billion in advertising to restore confidence in the site.
(Ed Note: The $800 billion will be taken from the remainder of the Morrison bequest, not M&S.)
God will hold Wondercafe admin in the palm of his hand during this trying time. By Grace the site will return.
Yes, the migration to the new WonderCafe is underway.
Thanks for your comments. This is a frustrating issue, but unfortunately not something we can totally control. People who log in to WonderCafe from different places will see different pages until our new DNS routing signal is fully propagated. Hopefully it will be complete soon! Please keep us informed about what you're getting when you attempt to log on.

Its Wednesday
Its Wednesday and the Wondercafe is still not running like the e-mail said it would be. It is 1:40 PM in Alberta.
Soon we will be taking bets if it will be up and running by Thursday or Friday.
I either get the we're under construction sign or the wondercafe page with dating, chatlines, airline tickets, etc. I wonder too if two websites can share the same web address.
